Our Sunday "Celebration"
Once you step through our front doors we thought you might like to know what to expect on your first visit. Here are a few things to help you feel at home: Our Sunday “Celebration” service begins at 9:30 AM. We call our Sunday service a “Celebration” because we like to celebrate! So, don’t be surprised to find balloons in our sanctuary!
Dress casual and you’ll fit right in. If you want to wear your very best, that’s fine too. We just want you to feel comfortable when you visit. Visit the Photo Gallery to take a look. We actually take a “coffee break” right in the middle of our service! It was our pastor’s idea. He’s wild about coffee and wants us all to experience a good cup of java. Speaking of our service, here is a little about what you can expect: It usually lasts about 90 minutes. Our worship team (band) is a group of musicians who are redefining “church music.” Our senior elder’s messages are simple, easy to understand and applicable to your daily life.
If you have children they’ll love KidsTown! KidsTown is our main event for children on Sundays. Once in their classroom their time is going to fly! A variety of stories, crafts and small group interaction reach kids right where they are at.
So when you’re ready, we would love to see you! Oh, and by the way, you won’t be pressured to give money. We do receive an offering during our celebration service and it is for those who call Newport Dove their home church.
