Sizzlin' Sisters is a supper group which was started in the summer of 2007. We find it to be a fun and delicious way for us ladies to get together and fellowship, try new recipes and foods. Katrina Brechbill and Ali Wenger co-lead this endeavor. On a typical evening we have anywhere from 12-20 ladies attending. We meet once a month (on the second Monday) at 6pm. The evening starts at 6, but due to schedules some arrive later than that. We generally don't eat until 7 or so. The location changes from month to month because anyone can host if they so desire. Some ladies have said they enjoy hosting, because it's like a dinner party with less to worry about, because the leaders supply the food and ingredients. =) Ali and Katrina plan the menus focusing on interesting and sometimes downright unusual dishes that are colorful, flavorful and delicious. Attending ladies need not bring anything with them except some money to share the cost of the meal. The cost usually ranges from $6-9 per person. We do ask that you be 18 years or older. You do not need to attend Newport Dove to come to Sizzlin' Sisters - we love visitors, and encourage ladies to bring a friend. Feel free to browse our past menus and try some new recipes.
